History

ValDeal Innovations Zrt. was founded on 17 July 2006 to encourage the establishment of knowledge and technology intensive firms, to be the first to bridge the gap between science and business in Hungary by providing complex business incubation and acceleration services, and to become a prominent player in the Hungarian innovation market.

Between 2007 and 2010 ValDeal adapted and developed a business incubation model already functioning on the international market to achieve the quest for inventions, their development and sales.

The Hungarian model of integrated services was the title of the programme grant, financed by the National Office for Research and Technology that has been completed by several hundred million forints of private capital of the founders. The experimental operation of ValDeal is ending on 30 November, 2010.

ValDeal issued two calls for proposals for researchers and inventors in Hungary in 2007 and 2008 to enable their inventions to be turned into successful products on the international market. Among the nearly 600 submitted life sciences, engineering and information technology projects, about 10% have been judged to be able to appear on the international market. Meanwhile ValDeal became a reliable partner of Hungarian inventors, innovative small and medium sized enterprises, universities, research organizations and investors in Hungary and in Central Europe.
