Know-how

Know-how refers to confidential engineering and management knowledge and experience. Enterprises keep the elements of their know-how in secret: they belong to the property of the company. The know-how can be commercialized and licensed. There is no exact definition for the term, know-how. Research might lead to patentable results that will be a part of the know-how. Juridical protection has to be taken place in these cases. Production means the mass production of the finalized product. New ideas in this stage can be added to the know-how as well.
