The prototype represents the product in a more developed phase than the desk model does. The prototype is a model constructed to contain all features of the market-ready product. The non-commercial prototype is in its final stage from engineering point of view but further changes are needed so that the product can be launched on the market. Commercial prototype can be launched on the market immediately.
